The demand for council housing in Thurrock far outstrips the number of properties we have available. By law, we must give priority housing to those with the greatest need.
Our online questionnaire can help you find somewhere to live. It takes you through a series of questions and gives advice on both housing and employment.
You may be eligible to join the waiting list and bid for council housing but you will need to register first – see Link Register with Thurrock Choice Homes.
Thurrock Choice Homes is our scheme which allows you to bid for properties once you are registered.
Thurrock Council is seeking your views on how the current housing allocations scheme and processes can be updated and improved.
Completing this online questionnaire which has been made available through the Council’s website is one way for you to express your views” https://consult.thurrock.gov.uk/portal
Alternatively – you can send you views in writing to email@example.com
