Other councils

Registration with Other Councils

If you have strong links with another area – for example, because you work there, used to live there, or have close relatives in the area – you may be able to register on the Housing List of the relevant council. 

 

You can register with as many Council’s as you like. Due to the variation in stock levels and demand, you may be housed quicker with some Council’s than others.

 

You will need to apply to each Council separately, and you should be aware that each Council has its own Allocations Policy.

 

You will need to contact the individual council to see if you are eligible to join their waiting list.

 

If you are re-housed with another Council, it is important that you advise all the other Councils with whom you are registered.
